1. Do you offer On-Site Technical Service?

Yes, service is available for $35 dollars per hour in our local area only within a 25 mile radius. Emergency service is available for $100 per hour. Note: That travel time will be an extra charge. (Prices subject to change without notice due to increase of the gas prices).

2. Do you offer Technical Service on the products that you sell like phone support ?

Yes, service is available only if you are local in our area only within a 25 mile radius. $35.00 dollars per hour min if we help you with a software issue and, $55.00 min if you have a hardware issue that we have to open your computer. $10.00 an hour if we can help you on the phone. Travel time will be an extra charge. Emergency service is available for $100 per hour. (Prices subject to change without notice due to increase of the gas prices). If you live out of our area we don't offer any phone support on the item that you purchase from us. Only E-mail support we can offer which is Free of charge. Please E-mail our support team at support@spccomputers.com or you will have to call the manufacturer for support on your product. Sorry for any inconvience this may cause. However if the product is D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival) when you receive it we will replace it under our 1-Year Warranty Agreement Plan. Warranty does not cover shipping charges returning it to us.

3. What Brand of Computers do you sell?

We sell custom build computers on the brand name parts that we sell on our web site and put our name on it.

4.Can you build me a custom PC?

Absolutely! This is a specialty of ours. Buy only what you need and get what you want in 2-3 working days! Note: that there is a 80% down payment before we can build the system for you and the other 20% when it is completed and picked up only local in our area. Out of our area you will have to pay for the whole system 100% before we can start building the system, and there will be a shipping fee to ship the system to you which we will let you know after the system is complete and tested.

5. Do you work on other companies PC’s?

Yes we do. Our technicians have resources available to them to properly service your computer, should it need repair. With the rapid changes in technology, you can depend on our technicians to have access to the most current information.

6. Will you buy my "old" computer or laptop or trade it in?

Yes but, we would not likely give you very much for it on a trade-in for a new system since, prices keep changing and older computers keeps depredating. You would best sell it on your own or you can donate it to us which we repair and upgrade and donate the system to a family in our area that can't afforded a computer system and would like one.

7. Is my current system upgradeable?

The best place obtain this information is in your original owners manual of your computer. Your owners manual will contain the manufacturers recommendations for upgrading too. Providing our technicians with the name brand of your system will not guarantee the exact specifications for your machine. Some of the parts may or may not be available to upgrade your older computer system. If you don't have your computer manual anymore, we can do the research for you for a nominal charge or you can find it yourself.

8. When will my computer be fixed?  

Most systems can be back to you in one working days or less depending what was wrong with the system. Correct information when you bring in your system would speed up the process instead of us finding out which would take longer. Sometimes service may take longer depending on the parts that your system needs or parts that we don't have in stock and have to order them.

9. What about my personal information when you repair my system?  

SPC Computers technicians all have been bonded. When a technician is doing the repairs on your system, they don't go looking at any of your personal information that you have on your system. There job is just to repair what is wrong with your system as quickly as possible.  

10. What about my files, will they safe or get deleted when you are doing the repairs?  

We are not responsible for your personal files when you bring us your computer system. Before you bring your system to us for repairs you should always backup your system just in case of a mishaps or if something went wrong or got corrupted. We have never had this happened so far but better safe than sorry.

11.What type of warranty do you offer?

Our new built systems have a One Year Warranty from the day that it is finish and in your hands. On occasion, electronic components can go bad. Since our machines are not built with proprietary parts, your system will be up and running very quickly, should your new system need help. Computer repairs on labor is 30-days from the time that we start working on the computer system and new parts comes with a 1-year warranty.

12. Do your new computer systems have an extended warranty?  

We have designed our systems to use the most compatible and highest rated components. We stand behind our new systems, and feel that purchasing an additional warranty beyond the one year is throwing away your good money. However, we do offer an extending warranty and is solely your choice.

13. What do you do with the parts from the upgrades?

We would give you back the parts if you wish to sell them or you can give them to us. We save the older parts to build computers for families that can't afford a computer system and would like to have one. We try and give back to the community.

14. Do you charge to have you look at my computer, to tell me what's wrong with it?

No! we don't charge you anything to look at your computer system. We feel that if we didn't do anything to your system, you should not have to pay us for diagnose your computer but, if we had to come and pick up your computer system and bring it back. You will be charge a travel charge, please see our normal rates.

15. What if we go over the hour 5 or 10 mins, would I get charge another hourly rate charge?

No! We feel if you go over 30 mins we would then charge you for the full hourly rate. We don't try and pinch every min to get extra labor charges.

16. What if I didn't like the service, and my computer is still not working correctly would I be entitle to a refund?

No! If you computer is not working correctly and you didn't contact SPC Computers about your problem within the 30-day period on the labor, because you were to busy and forgot to call us, this would not be SPC Computers fault. SPC Computers would not give you a refund but, if you wish you have your computer system looked at again by one of our technicians, we can do that for another charge per our normal service rates. SPC Computers can be contact many different ways. E-mail, or stopping by with an appointment. You would be entitle to a refund if we couldn't repair your computer or and what we repaired was still having problems with it. (We are 99.9% percent that we can repair your computer if possible) SPC Computers checks their e-mail every 5 mins.

17. What if I refer a friend would, I get some free service or a discount?

 Yes! You would get a $20.00 referral check for referring your friend if they spend $80.00 or more on their visit with SPC Computers. This is just a way that SPC Computers appreciated your referral to our company.
